Our Mission Statement: Changing lives by making connections, raising awareness and promoting inclusion for those with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Vision Statement: Family Connection of South Carolina strives to empower the families and individuals we serve with education, support, and resources to achieve their full potential.

Family Connection is the point of contact for those living with disabilities throughout their journeys, from birth to adulthood. Programs and services focus on five key areas: Parent Support, Healthcare, Education, Training, and Advocacy. Family Connection staff members are trained to help parents navigate each stage of their child's journey and chart a course for success.

LOOK! Photography Exhibit

LOOK! is an annual photography exhibit showcasing the beauty and unique abilities of the children of families we serve. Local photographers donate photo sessions to capture compelling images of these children in their favorite settings.

We hope viewers of the LOOK! exhibit take a moment to reflect, and to see the joy and everyday moments experienced by children and youth who also happen to have a disability.

We are currently seeking professional photographers from across the state to participate!

The 2026 Exhibit will be on display at the Richland County Library on Assembly Street from June 11- mid-July.
