We're Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands! At Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands, we are more than just an organization; we are the premier leadership experience for girls across 22 counties, from the mountains of the Upstate to the heart of the Midlands. Our mission is simple yet profound: to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. The essential leadership, resilience and character skills learned through Girl Scouts are more vital and urgently needed than ever.

This past year, we served more than 5,800 girls and over 2,000 volunteers. In the coming year, we are committed to growing as an organization, but we need your help! Your donation provides life-changing experiences for girls in our community by giving them:

•    Camp experiences at Camps Cathy, Mary Elizabeth, and WaBak that strengthen mental health and build courage.

•    STEM, outdoor adventures, and life skills programs that spark curiosity and confidence.

•    Membership and uniform financial assistance so all girls can belong and grow.

•    Support for volunteers and troop leaders, the backbone of our movement.

History
Girl Scouts of South Carolina —Mountains to Midlands was formed May 1, 2007 when three legacy councils (Girl Scout Council of the Congaree Area, Girl Scouts of the Old 96 Council, and Girl Scouts of the Piedmont Area Council) realigned to create one council.  On May 1, 2008, three counties from the former Girl Scouts, Central Savannah River Council - Augusta, GA joined Mountains to Midlands to comprise our 22-county service area.
